The Barko 275A SE is a pedestal-mounted stationary electric crane. The unit is power by a 100hp Lincoln Electric motor and needs 460v 3-phase power. The unit weighs 20,000lbs and has a maximum lifting capacity of 30,100lbs. It is a three-piece boom approximately 20' boom and 8' first stick and a stationary second stick. It has a two prong grapple with rotator. The setup is designed for lifting logs. Rotation is controlled by foot pedals, while boom and grapple functions are handled by hand controls. The cab is air conditioned by a normal 110v household window unit. Copies of the original order sheet and spec sheet are available upon request.
This unit was ordered and built in 1984 and fed a small shredder until approximately 2009. The unit has not been used since that time. We purchased this crane as part of a larger production line, moved it to Virginia and decided not to use it. The crane, to the best of our knowledge, still works, though we have never attempted to use it. The crane is being sold on an as-is, where-is basis. No warranty is expressed or implied. The buyer is responsible for providing transportation for the equipment and is responsible for all shipping costs. Stratton Metals can assist with the loading of the machine, but bears no responsibility for damage that may be incurred during the loading process. Funds must be in the form of certified bank check received within 7 days of point-of-sale. Buyer has 30 days from point-of-sale to remove the equipment from Stratton Metals property.
The blue frame seen in the pictures is there for shipping purposes and is not a permanent part of the machine. The buyer will need to remove it once the crane is installed.
