The ML-5000D Power Honing Machine represents a giant leap in conventional honing machine performance.
The machine cycle is controlled by a Sunnen microprocessor. The ML-5000D has a new Stone Regulator
that precisely control the expansion rate of the honing stones, very important with your delicate honing tool process.

The ML-5000D machine has our new Programmable Stroke Control System for honing blind bores.
This system allows the ML-5000D machine to production-hone blind bore parts. The ML-5000D also has the new Programmable
Cycle Time Control System. This system automatically controls the honing feed force for consistent production.
The feed force can also be programmed (can be programmed for initial feed force for most of the cycle to remove material at a
fast rate and then to lower feed force to insure optimum bore geometry.

Features:
The ML-5000D has variable speed spindle and stroke motors, 5.5 HP and 1.5 HP., respectively. The speeds can be adjusted
during the process for easy optimization of the honing set-up. All these features add up to a high performance honing machine.
